Description
The 4 station functional rig is the compact format of the stainless steel luxury range, delivering four training positions on a reduced footprint. It brings the essentials of outdoor functional training, pull-ups, hanging work, dips and bodyweight exercises, to sites that cannot accommodate a large structure. The price is 11,999 EUR excluding VAT.
Four positions used simultaneously cover the fundamentals of bodyweight training. The format suits constrained spaces: a hotel courtyard, a landscaped roof terrace, a residential development, a small neighbourhood park or the outdoor annexe of a gym.
Construction in stainless steel 316L is identical to the larger formats in the range: the same corrosion resistance, the same professional dimensioning, the same minimal maintenance. Nothing is downgraded except the size.

Installing on a constrained site
The reduced footprint is only half the story. The clear zone of at least 1.50 metres required by EN 16630 applies on every side, so the ground you actually need is the structure plus 3 metres in each direction. On a roof terrace or a hotel courtyard, that figure is what determines feasibility, and it is worth checking before the equipment is chosen.
Roof and terrace installations raise a second question: load. Anchoring is by base plates cast into a concrete foundation or bolted to an existing slab, and on an elevated structure the slab capacity and the waterproofing detail both need confirming with the building’s engineer. Our layout study covers the anchoring plan.
Impact attenuating surfacing goes under and around the rig, specified under EN 1177 to the free fall height. Bonded rubber gym flooring tiles of 40 to 65 mm are our recommendation for the landing area, and on a terrace they also protect the existing finish.
Light In Fitness has manufactured and supplied from Tours since 2013 and has equipped more than 500 establishments. Each project includes a free layout study, delivery throughout France, installation by our teams and a professional warranty, with wear parts available afterwards.
Frequently asked questions
Can the 4 station rig be extended later?
Yes. The range shares the same construction logic, so further modules can be added as the site develops.
Is the material the same as on the larger rigs?
Identical. Stainless steel 316L throughout, with the same professional dimensioning and the same maintenance regime of cleaning and periodic inspection.
Is it suitable for a care home or similar establishment?
It is specified among other uses as a secured bodyweight training station for establishments. The station heights and the supervision arrangements should be discussed with us for that kind of audience.
