Description
The octagonal functional rig organises eight training stations around a closed stainless steel 316L structure. Each face of the octagon forms one working position, and the closed geometry naturally channels user circulation while marking out the training area in a public space. The price is 16,999 EUR excluding VAT.
It exists as the answer for sites that cannot take the twelve station circular rig. Eight positions instead of twelve, on a reduced footprint, is a trade a park designer makes when the available plot is fixed. Pull-ups, hanging work, dips, suspension trainer work and bodyweight exercises are all supported across the eight faces.
Stainless steel 316L holds up outdoors all year, including on the coast, with no paint or galvanising to renew. Upkeep is periodic cleaning and a visual check of the fixings.

Why a closed shape works in a public park
An open rectangular frame in a park has no edge: users spill out of it, passers by walk through it, and the training area has to be defined by paint or fencing. A closed octagon defines itself. That is a practical benefit for a municipality, because it makes the safety zone legible to people who are not using the equipment, and it keeps a queue on the outside rather than in the fall zone.
On an open access site the installation falls under EN 16630, which requires a clear zone of at least 1.50 metres all round and impact attenuating surfacing to EN 1177 sized to the free fall height. Where the site is private and closed, a hotel, a residence or a box, those figures stay the reference for good practice. For the landing surface we recommend bonded rubber gym flooring tiles of 40 to 65 mm.

Frequently asked questions
How does it compare with the circular 12 station rig?
The octagon takes eight users against twelve for the circular version, on a reduced footprint. The choice depends on expected traffic and available ground, and our free layout study settles it for your site.
Why stainless steel 316L outdoors?
316L resists corrosion in marine and chlorinated environments with no surface treatment to renew, which is what makes it the reference material for equipment left outdoors all year.
Is installation included?
We carry out the layout study, prepare the anchoring and install anywhere in France. The exact scope appears on the quotation, which is free and issued within 24 hours.
