Description
The 10 foot freestanding rig is the entry format of the stainless steel cross competition range, sized for sites where ground area is limited. It brings competition grips, working heights and stainless construction to a footprint that fits a courtyard, a terrace or the corner of a sports platform.
Ten feet covers the fundamentals of hanging and body weight work for a small group: pull ups, muscle ups, hanging travel and ring work, with the bar spacings used on competition structures. It is deliberately not a class sized rig. The purpose is to give a site its first outdoor module at a scale it can actually accommodate, then to extend the zone later with complementary stations rather than committing to a large structure and its foundations from the outset.
Construction is stainless steel 316L, the marine grade, which holds up against corrosion by the sea, in chlorinated environments and in salt laden air. Being freestanding, the rig does not depend on a building, so it can be positioned anywhere the foundations allow. Maintenance is limited to cleaning and a periodic check of the fixings, with no coating to renew.

Starting an outdoor training zone
Most outdoor fitness areas are built in stages, and the first module sets the standard for everything that follows. A compact competition specification rig is a good starting point because the geometry does not have to be revisited later: additional modules from the same range align with it. Boxes and clubs use the 10 foot format as their first outdoor unit, hotels and residences gain a compact zone built to professional standards, municipalities install it as neighbourhood equipment, and schools and campuses use it as a supervised body weight station. Ground preparation is the same as for a larger rig, base plates into concrete foundations or onto an existing slab, with a clear safety zone of at least 1.50 m and EN 1177 surfacing sized against the free height of fall. Every project includes a free implantation study, delivery throughout France and installation by our teams.
Frequently asked questions
How many people can train on it at once?
The 10 foot format suits a small group working in rotation. A realistic figure for your programme is confirmed in the implantation study.
Can we extend it later?
Yes. Further modules from the same cross competition range share the geometry, so the zone can be developed in phases.
Why 316L stainless steel?
316L is the marine grade, with higher corrosion resistance than 304 in coastal, chlorinated and salt air environments. It carries a lifetime structural warranty.
