Description
This self powered outdoor upright bike is the reinforced collective version, built for intensive free access and running entirely on the energy of pedalling. Seated pedalling is the most universal cardio movement there is, and it needs no instruction at all.
That accessibility is the reason the bike is usually the first station used in a public fitness area by people who are furthest from regular exercise. It is intuitive, low impact and suits older users and people in recovery as readily as trained cyclists. Mechanical self generated resistance removes any electrical connection, which frees the siting from cable routes and supply points.
The collective version is reinforced for high footfall and permanent exposure, the two conditions that destroy equipment specified for lighter use. Maintenance is limited to cleaning and periodic inspection of the transmission, with no motor, no electronics and no technical room to service.

Where an outdoor bike belongs
Municipal parks, health trails, residential estates, care homes and campsites are the usual settings. On a health trail the bike is the pedalling station that anchors the circuit; in a care setting it offers gentle activity to residents who would not attempt anything else; on a campsite it gives an activity offer with no building works and no supply to arrange.
Detailed dimensions, the material specification, the safety zone and the anchoring detail for this reference are confirmed in the free siting study we prepare from your site drawing and issue with the quotation. In open access settings the equipment falls under EN 16630, and the study sets the safety zone and any impact attenuating surface required. Lead times depend on current production batches and are confirmed on the quotation, with the delivery and installation slot agreed at the order. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, and quote export per project.
