Description
This stainless steel outdoor standing row strengthens the back through a guided pull loaded with Olympic plates. It complements pull ups and hanging work to give an outdoor area complete back development rather than a single, demanding exercise.
The standing row targets the lats and the mid back with adjustable load, where a pull up bar imposes the user’s own bodyweight as the minimum. That distinction decides who can train: a large share of the population cannot yet complete a pull up, and without a loaded pulling station they have no back exercise available at all. A plate loaded row opens the movement to every level and lets progress be measured.
The stainless execution is designed for permanent weather exposure, with no paint to renew and maintenance limited to cleaning and periodic inspection of the joints. Dimensioning targets professional use in open access, where the machine is used without induction by users it will never meet twice.

Building a back training zone outdoors
Municipalities specify the station so that back training is available without pull ups. Barracks use it for targeted reinforcement available at any hour. Clubs and boxes extend their strength floor outdoors. In each case the row sits naturally alongside a pull up rig, covering the users the rig excludes.
In open access the machine falls under EN 16630, requiring a peripheral safety zone of at least 1.50 metres and an EN 1177 compliant impact attenuating surface dimensioned to the free fall height. On enclosed private sites the same requirements remain the reference for good practice. For the landing area Light In Fitness recommends its 40 to 65 mm impact attenuating tiles in bonded installation. Manufacturer and distributor in Tours since 2013, we support more than 500 sites and include a free layout study, delivery, installation by our own teams and a professional warranty.
Frequently asked questions
Who is this station for?
Anyone from a complete beginner upwards. The load starts low enough for a first session and rises with plates as the user progresses, which is the main advantage over bodyweight only equipment.
Why stainless steel outdoors?
It resists corrosion without paint or any renewable treatment, including in marine environments, giving the longest service life under permanent exposure with maintenance reduced to periodic cleaning.
Is installation included?
Light In Fitness carries out the layout study, prepares the anchoring and installs across France. The terms appear on the quotation, which is free and issued within 24 working hours.
