Description
The outdoor Olympic half rack takes the strength station of the luxury stainless range and opens it up, supplied with its weightlifting platform. It covers the essentials of free weight training, squat, bench press, pull-ups and deadlift, on a smaller footprint than the full cage. Barbell catches are secured on the front face while circulation stays clear around the station, and the integrated platform receives the floor based movements. The list price is 7,999 EUR excluding VAT.
Construction is entirely in stainless steel for outdoor use: no paint to make good, maintenance limited to periodic cleaning. The sizing remains that of professional equipment intended for intensive use.

Open format against a full cage
The choice between a half rack and a four upright cage is not only about surface area, although the half rack does fit sites where the full cage will not. The open format changes the coaching relationship: with three sides clear, a coach stands next to the lifter rather than outside a frame, correcting position and spotting directly. In a barracks or a supervised club session, that is the deciding argument.
What is given up is the enclosed safety of catch bars on all four uprights for solo lifting at maximal loads. Where the station will be used unsupervised at heavy loads, the full cage remains the safer specification. Where sessions are coached, or where loads are moderate and volume matters more, the half rack does the same work in less space.
The integrated platform is what makes barbell work viable outdoors: it defines the working zone, protects the ground when loaded bars are set down, and gives a flat stable base for deadlifts.
