Description
The SIA 07580 outdoor Ninja Warrior rig is a 15.56 m long OCR training course built from 25 EN 1176 certified components and weighing 1 914.87 kg. It measures 15 559 by 3 054 by 3 537 mm and requires a 20 576 by 7 341 mm impact area, roughly 151 m2. The obstacles reproduce what competitors meet on the circuit, including two salmon ladder sets, three swinging monkey bar kits, spinning monkey bars, Revolver rotating pull up bars and 13 climbing wall panels, which is why clubs preparing athletes for Spartan Race, Runmageddon, Barbarian Race and other OCR formats specify it. Manufactured in Europe for year round indoor and outdoor use, it is priced at 28 500 EUR excluding VAT.

Foundations, surfacing and installation
Two foundation methods are supported: setting the pillars directly in concrete following manual EL00-09550A01, or bolting them to anchor plates following manual EL00-15427. On soft ground, the foundation sizing given in EN 1176 clause 4.2.14 applies. The choice usually comes down to whether you already have a slab and whether the rig may need to be relocated later.
Surfacing is the item that decides the budget alongside the rig itself. With a maximum critical fall height of 3 065 mm, impact attenuating surfacing compliant with EN 1176 and EN 16630 and rated for that height is mandatory across the whole impact area of approximately 151 m2, not merely under the obstacles. Grass, bare concrete and loose gravel do not qualify. Set the surfacing budget at the same time as the structure budget.
For very demanding climates, specify hot dip galvanised pillars: the source data credits the treatment with 25 years of additional service life. Every square profile already carries drainage holes so water cannot sit inside the sections and freeze, which is the usual failure mode on outdoor rigs in cold regions. The structure carries a 2 year warranty, with periodic inspection of fixings and wear recommended throughout its life.
Frequently asked questions
Does it reproduce real competition obstacles?
That is the design intent. The inventory includes two salmon ladder sets, the signature ninja obstacle, along with swinging and spinning monkey bars, Revolver rotating bars, OCR grip handles and climbing walls, so athletes train on the same movements they will meet at a Spartan Race, Runmageddon or Barbarian Race event rather than on approximations.
How much ground do we actually need?
The rig itself occupies 15.56 by 3.05 m, but the certified impact area is 20 576 by 7 341 mm, about 151 m2, and that whole surface must be surfaced. Plan around the impact area, not around the structure.
Can the obstacle configuration be changed?
Yes. Obstacle configuration, colours and dimensions can all be specified to your requirements at order stage, so a rig for a youth club and one for a competitive OCR squad can be built from the same component family.
