Description
The Ninja Tracks Tarzan Rope module reproduces the swinging rope crossing of a ninja course as a permanently installed outdoor station. A row of hanging ropes is suspended from a steel frame, and the user crosses by transferring from rope to rope while controlling the swing. It is built to EN 16630:2015, the European standard for fixed outdoor fitness equipment, and suits public parks, obstacle trails and outdoor training areas.
Rope transfers are one of the few outdoor exercises that load grip, back, arms and trunk at the same time while also demanding timing. Because each rope moves, the athlete has to generate momentum, hold it and release at the right moment, so the station rewards technique rather than raw strength. It is used for climbing, hanging, swinging and controlled traverses, which gives an unusually wide exercise range for a module of this size.
The frame measures 3378 x 1500 mm on plan and 2700 mm high. Equipment weight is 103 kg, the lightest of the Ninja Tracks line, which simplifies handling on site. Maximum user weight is 150 kg and the station is designed for users above 140 cm in height.

Planning the installation
Swinging elements need more clear space than static ones, and the declared safety zone of 5500 x 7378 mm reflects that. Keep 3 m of clear height above the frame and avoid siting the module directly beside a path, since a released rope travels beyond the vertical. An impact attenuating surface is recommended across the whole zone.
On a multi station circuit the rope traverse is usually placed after a warm-up element rather than first, because it is the most demanding station for grip. The corrosion protection of the frame and the foundation design are confirmed on the quotation. Dispatch from stock is 5 to 10 working days, with delivery to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg and export quoted per project.
Frequently asked questions
Are the ropes replaceable?
Ropes are the wearing part of this type of station and are supplied as spares. We confirm the reference and the replacement interval with the quotation.
Can the module be installed on its own?
Yes. It functions as a standalone station and also integrates into a longer Ninja Tracks line when a full circuit is planned.
What surfacing should be specified?
An impact attenuating surface covering the full safety zone. The build-up depends on the free height of fall for the site, which is issued with the layout study.
