Grip strength is what decides an obstacle course
On any timed ninja course, the athletes who fail do so because their hands give out, not their arms. The tentacle grips are shaped to load the fingers and forearms specifically, across hanging, traversing, climbing and coordination movements. For a facility that already has bars and rings, this is the module that adds the training quality those cannot provide.
Progression for mixed abilities
The module works for a beginner and for a competitive athlete on the same frame, because difficulty is a function of how the grips are used: a beginner hangs and traverses slowly with feet available; an experienced user moves dynamically between grips. That is a genuine advantage in a public installation where nobody controls who uses what.

Frequently asked questions
Movable handles or tentacle grips?
Movable handles train dynamic control and trunk stabilisation; tentacle grips train grip endurance and finger strength. On a course of three or more modules, install both. On a single-module installation, tentacle grips suit a site whose users are new to obstacle training.
What headroom is needed?
A minimum height clearance of 3 m, which rules out installation under low canopies, balconies or mature tree cover with hanging branches. Check overhead as well as ground clearance during the siting survey.
What surfacing should be specified?
An impact-attenuating surface such as rubber tiles across the safety zone, with thickness sized to the free height of fall. We size and quote this with the module.
Building a course around it
A single obstacle is a feature; three or more in sequence is a course, and a course is what generates repeat visits. A common configuration pairs a grip module with a movable-handle module and a traverse, giving a run of roughly fifteen to twenty seconds for a competent user. Where the site allows, orient the line so spectators can watch from a path, because visible use is the strongest driver of adoption in a public installation.
