Description
Two hundred and twenty-five litres: the whole season of kit in one padlockable steel box.
The CAN970 storage trunk offers 225 litres for storing and transporting sports kit: strips and training bibs, balls, cones, agility ladders, race numbers, guards and conditioning accessories. In the club store and on the road alike, for tournaments, training camps and events, it protects your equipment inside a pressed steel structure made in France. It is the size clubs reach for when one trunk has to cover a full squad rather than a single session.
Closure and stacking
The lid is held open at 95 degrees by a retaining cable, which keeps it off the hands of whoever is loading. Closure is by a drilled rod with a 6.5 mm diameter hole that takes a padlock, so the kit is secured at the venue as well as at the club. Reinforcing ribs welded to the lid and to the base allow several trunks to stack squarely in the store room, which is what turns a cluttered corner into usable shelf height.
Carrying and daily use
Two handles on non-removable mounting plates make two-person carrying practical, and at this size two people is the realistic answer: a full 50 kg payload in a 225 litre box is not a one-person lift. The grey RAL 7021 finish takes repeated loading into vans and trailers without looking tired after a season.

Frequently asked questions
Why is the payload 50 kg when the trunk holds 225 litres?
Payload is a structural limit, not a volume limit. Sports kit is bulky and light, so 225 litres of bibs, balls and cones sits comfortably under 50 kg. Dense items such as weights belong in a smaller chest, close to the floor.
Can it be moved when full?
By two people, using the handles. If the trunk has to be moved often across a site, plan the route: at this footprint a loaded trunk does not go through a narrow doorway diagonally.
Does it stack with the 70 L model?
Both models carry welded ribs on the lid and base, but they have different footprints, so a stack is only stable when trunks of the same size sit on each other. Group them by size in the store room.
Is a padlock included?
No. The drilled rod takes any padlock with a shackle that passes through a 6.5 mm hole. A 30 mm brass padlock with three keys is listed separately.
