Small equipment under control, session after session
The CR550B metal storage chest holds resistance bands, suspension trainers, skipping ropes, timers, stopwatches, markers, chalk and the rest of the coaching kit that otherwise ends up scattered across the floor. Gyms, cross-training boxes, boutique studios, sports clubs and outdoor fitness areas use it to centralise consumables and lock them away between classes.
Materials and build
The body is made in France from pressed sheet steel and finished in RAL 7021 grey. Two carry handles are fitted on tamper-proof plates, the reinforced hinges include a 95 degree opening stop, and the padlock hasp accepts a 30 mm padlock (supplied separately). The chest weighs 7.3 kg empty and takes a 30 kg payload, so two members of staff can move it fully loaded without a trolley.
Sliding tray and options
The sliding tray supplied with this model creates a second level inside the chest: stopwatches, timers, markers and keys stay within reach without unpacking anything. Dedicated accessories make the chest mobile or raise it off the ground – wheeled dolly, castor set, galvanised feet, intermediate stacking tray or carrying strap depending on the model. Frequently asked questions
Is a padlock supplied with the chest?
No. The hasp is designed for a 30 mm padlock, which is ordered separately so each site can standardise on its own keying or combination.
Can the chest stay outdoors on a fitness area?
It is used on outdoor fitness areas and in unheated storerooms. Raising it on galvanised feet keeps the base clear of ground moisture and makes the contents easier to reach.
