The large format of the range

The CR1048 metal storage chest is sized for dumbbells, kettlebells, weight plates, medicine balls, protective pads, folded mats and large quantities of accessories. Gyms, cross-training boxes, studios, clubs, schools and outdoor fitness areas use it as the main equipment store, locked between sessions and moved as a single unit when the room is reconfigured.

Materials and build

Pressed sheet steel, made in France, finished in RAL 7021 grey. Two carry handles are mounted on tamper-proof plates, the reinforced hinges include a 95 degree opening stop and the padlock hasp accepts a 30 mm padlock, supplied separately. The chest weighs 21 kg empty and carries a 50 kg payload.

Accessories and use

Unlike the CR550B and CR820B, this model is supplied without a sliding tray: the full 230 litres stay clear for long or bulky items. A wheeled dolly, castor set, galvanised feet, intermediate stacking tray or carrying strap adapt it to your storeroom depending on the model. This reference is listed without a tray. If you need an upper level, tell us when you request your quotation and we will check the compatible options for this size.

How much does it weigh once loaded?

21 kg empty plus a payload of up to 50 kg. Above 50 kg the chest is no longer within its rated capacity.

Is it suitable for a school or municipal storeroom?

Yes. The padlock hasp lets caretakers keep one key policy for the whole site, and the pressed steel body copes with shared daily use.
