The CR850B metal storage chest is sized for dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls, straps, protective gear, training bibs and coaching accessories. In a gym, a cross-training box, a studio, a club or an outdoor fitness area, it centralises the small equipment and puts it under lock and key between sessions. Made in France from pressed sheet steel, it takes daily collective use without complaint.

Sized for team sport and group classes

With a 50 kg payload and an 818 mm internal length, the CR850B swallows the load that a 65 litre chest cannot: full sets of bibs, a rack of medicine balls, or the complete accessory kit of a group training room. Two carrying handles on non-removable mounting plates let two people move it when full.

Security and everyday use

Reinforced hinges with a 95 degree opening stop hold the lid open while the chest is being loaded, and the padlock hasp (30 mm padlock available as an option) secures the contents overnight. The included sliding tray forms an upper level for stopwatches, timers, markers and keys, which stay accessible without unpacking the chest. Also known as a site box, this model is equally useful in a workshop or a plant room.

Specifications

Can one person move the chest when it is full?

Not comfortably at 50 kg. Fit the set of two 125 mm castors so the chest can be tilted and pulled between zones by a single member of staff.

Does the sliding tray reduce the usable volume?

It slides along the top of the chest and only occupies the upper part of the internal height, so the 350 mm depth stays available underneath it.

Is the chest suitable for an unsupervised outdoor fitness area?

The padlock hasp deters casual access, but the chest is not an anti-vandalism safe. For an unsupervised site, anchor it or keep it inside a locked enclosure.

What is the difference with the CR570B?

Same construction and same finish, 300 mm more length: 105 litres instead of 65, and a 50 kg payload instead of 30 kg.
