Description
Grey rubber tile 20 mm — product and ordering
Rubber floor tile, grey, format 100 × 100 cm (1 m² per tile), thickness 20 mm. Sold per tile: 44 € excl. VAT per tile, i.e. 44 € excl. VAT/m², delivery not included. Volume pricing by surface area, on quotation.
The grey range by thickness
The grey tile is also available in 10 mm, 15 mm, 30 mm, 40 mm. The same colour across all thicknesses lets you adapt the floor to each zone of the gym without visual breaks.
Uses and limits
This 20 mm thickness is meant for all-round use in a gym: strength floors, pin-loaded machines, functional zones and moderate free weights. For repeated heavy loads and bar drops, the range points to the 30 and 40 mm thicknesses.

Working out quantities and delivery
Allow one tile per usable m², plus a cutting margin for edges and cut-outs around machines. Delivery is on pallets and is not included in the price: transport costs depend on quantity and destination and are stated on the quotation.
Installation and care
Loose-lay installation, edge to edge, on a flat, clean and dry subfloor. Clean with a vacuum cleaner or a damp mop with a neutral detergent. Keep oils and greases off the surface: they degrade rubber.
Documents, warranty and after-sales
Technical data sheet supplied on request with the quotation. Warranty conditions are stated on the quotation. After-sales contact: contact@lightinfitness.com.
Choosing the right thickness
The choice of thickness depends on how each zone is used: 10 mm for simple floor protection, 15 mm for machines and walkways, 20 mm as an all-round choice, 30 mm for heavy loads, 40 mm for weightlifting.
Impact-noise reduction of this 20 mm tile
A 20 mm rubber tile attenuates impact noise by around 18 to 22 dB (ΔLw index, ISO 10140-3 type tests, ISO 717-2 rating). This level of attenuation suits all-round professional gym floors. The exact value depends on the subfloor (concrete slab, timber floor) and the installation method: these figures are orders of magnitude observed for rubber tiles of this thickness, not a measurement of this specific reference.
| Thickness | Indicative attenuation (ΔLw) | Recommended use |
|---|---|---|
| 10 mm | 15 to 18 dB | Cardio, walkways |
| 15 mm | 18 to 20 dB | Pin-loaded machines |
| 20 mm | 18 to 22 dB | All-round pro gym |
| 30 mm | 27 to 29 dB | Heavy loads |
| 40 mm | 30 dB and more | Weightlifting, bar drops |
For an upper-floor gym or one adjoining offices, flats or hotel rooms, pair the tile with an acoustic underlay. For sizing and pricing, request a quote.
