Description
The Curved Ladder BLO-083 is an arched horizontal ladder for outdoor fitness trails. Its arc profile with ergonomic rungs turns the classic monkey-bar traverse into a progressive climb-and-descend movement, combining suspension work, climbing and coordination in one elegant structure.
Key features
- High-strength galvanised steel structure with anti-corrosion, anti-UV epoxy powder finish
- Arc-of-circle design with ergonomic rungs across the full span
- Rising then falling traverse that naturally scales in difficulty towards the crown
- Designed to meet the safety requirements applicable to outdoor fitness equipment
- Built for intensive open-access use in parks, residences, campsites and sports centres
What the curve changes
On a flat ladder every rung demands the same effort; on the BLO-083 the ascent loads the lats, rhomboids and biceps like a climb, the crown demands maximum grip and core tension, and the descent trains eccentric control. Users can also simply hang from the lower rungs for shoulder mobility and spinal decompression, or perform knee raises in suspension. Forearm and grip strength — the limiting factor in most pulling exercises — develops quickly with regular traverses.

Frequently asked questions
How difficult is the traverse for a beginner?
Beginners start on the lower rungs at either end, where feet can stay close to the ground, and progress towards the crown as grip strength improves — the geometry itself provides the progression.
Which muscles does it train?
Primarily the forearms, lats, shoulders and core; the traverse also develops coordination and movement rhythm that transfer to obstacle-course and street workout training.
Can it stand alone?
Yes, though it is most effective placed between strength stations as the grip-and-coordination link of a complete trail.
