The Bodytone Nexion U80L is a professional upright bike combining an authentic cycling posture with a compact footprint and open FTMS connectivity. Footprint, intensity and day to day operation

The upright bike is the most space efficient way to add cardio positions. Its compact base fits between machines, along a wall or in a narrow secondary room, which is why hotels, corporate gyms, residences and clubs short on floor area specify it first. Learning time is close to zero, so it works well as an entry machine for new members and as a warm up station before a class.

The 32 EMS resistance levels cover the full intensity band on one machine, and the seated to standing transition changes the muscles recruited: seated pedalling loads the quadriceps, standing brings in the glutes and hamstrings. That makes the U80L usable for both steady state endurance and interval formats. The optional 200 kg user rating is worth specifying in facilities serving bariatric or medically supervised populations, where a 150 kg limit would exclude part of the clientele.

Maintenance is light. Electromagnetic resistance has no contact brake to wear, and the Poly-V belt requires no lubrication or tensioning routine, so servicing means checking the seat post clamp, pedals and stabiliser feet, plus applying updates. Service mode gives approved technicians diagnostics and calibration access. Each unit needs a mains socket, and transport wheels allow one person to move the bike for cleaning.
