Description
The Bodytone Nexion C60L is the compact LED console stair climber of the Nexion range: six steps, a step size of 43 x 23 x 15 cm and a maximum user weight of 130 kg. It is the entry point into connected climbing when space or budget sets the limit, and it gives up none of the operating technology: the same FTMS console, the same EMS resistance across fifteen levels, the same 14 to 140 step rate and the same self locking brake as the larger C80L. The shorter staircase and smaller step also make it the more approachable machine for members new to climbing. It is specified for hotel and residence gyms, corporate fitness rooms, physiotherapy practices and clubs adding a first climber.

Why the compact format works in smaller facilities
A 15 cm step riser and a six step staircase produce a lower climbing amplitude than the C80L, and in a hotel or corporate setting that is an advantage rather than a compromise: guests and employees who have never used a climber find the smaller step easier to enter, and the reduced height makes the machine less imposing in a room with limited ceiling clearance. The 130 kg user capacity covers the overwhelming majority of a general population.
The price difference against the C80L, 4 362 EUR excluding VAT rather than 6 840 EUR excluding VAT, is significant enough that some projects can install two C60L units instead of one larger machine, which improves availability at peak times. Overall dimensions, machine weight and electrical supply are confirmed on request, and transport wheels are included so the unit can be moved for cleaning or a floor refit.
Operating technology carried over from the larger model
Nothing in the fleet management layer is reduced. Service mode gives approved technicians diagnostics and calibration access, self diagnosis returns error codes in real time, maintenance alerts warn before a fault becomes a breakdown, and the total distance counter records cumulative use since first commissioning for usage based servicing. Two bottle holders, a smartphone and tablet holder, wireless charging and an LED light line are all standard. The range was developed through an ergonomic and biomechanical study supervised by associated professionals and tested by professional athletes.
Frequently asked questions
Is the C60L less capable than the C80L?
Only in dimensioning. The console, the FTMS protocol, the fifteen EMS resistance levels, the 14 to 140 step rate and the self locking brake are identical. The C60L has six steps rather than nine, a 43 x 23 x 15 cm step rather than 50 x 26 x 18 cm, and a 130 kg rather than 160 kg user limit.
Which model suits a hotel fitness room?
Usually the C60L. The smaller step is easier for guests who are unfamiliar with climbers, the machine is less imposing in a modest room, and the lower price releases budget for other equipment. Sites with a strength or sports population lean towards the C80L.
Can it be used in a physiotherapy or adapted activity setting?
The step rate starts at 14 steps per minute, which is a slow controlled walk, and the resistance starts at level 1, so the machine can be set very gently. As always, the training protocol remains the practitioner’s decision.
