Description
The Functional Walker Ellipse changes between running, climbing and elliptical motion automatically, with the stride adjusting from 0 to 70 cm to match the user’s range of movement. Three machines in one frame is unusual in cardio, and it is the reason this unit appears in rooms that cannot fit three separate machines.
Most cross trainers fix the stride and let the user adapt. Here the stride varies through the movement, so a short user taking small steps and a tall user driving a long stride are both working correctly on the same machine, and a single user can move between a running action, a climbing action and a full elliptical path within one session. Resistance runs across twenty levels, controlled from a joystick on the console.
The frame is fully PVC covered, which limits the area exposed to perspiration and with it the risk of corrosion, the usual failure point on cardio equipment in a busy room. The handrails are PU foam with a silicone gel finish, pedals are durable ABS, and a heart rate sensor is fitted. The console is a 7 inch LCD reporting time, climb height, calories, steps, heart rate, distance and speed, with a bottle and phone holder alongside. Integrated transport wheels and adjustable floor supports make positioning and levelling straightforward.

Where a variable stride machine fits
Hotels, residences, corporate gyms and clubs with a small cardio area get the most from a machine that behaves as three. It also suits sites with a wide range of user heights, since the automatic stride removes the setting that members most often get wrong on a fixed cross trainer.
Plan a power socket per machine and enough lateral clearance for a user stepping off mid session. Adjustable floor supports handle minor level variations, which matters on older floors. A siting plan with spacing and electrical requirements is issued with the quotation once we have your room drawing. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, quote export per project, and dispatch within five to ten working days from stock.
Frequently asked questions
How does the machine change between the three movements?
The stride adjusts automatically through its 0 to 70 cm range as the user changes their action, so the transition from a running motion to a climb or a full elliptical path happens without stopping to change a setting.
Why does the PVC covering matter?
Perspiration is what corrodes cardio equipment. Covering the frame leaves very little metal exposed to it, which extends service life in a busy room.
Does it need a dedicated electrical circuit?
It runs from a standard 220 V AC supply with a 16 A cable and 13 A overload protection. Confirm the socket positions with us when the room layout is set.
