Description

The Gold Line EXE is a professional cross trainer running on a 6063 high strength aluminium alloy track with a self generating electromagnetic resistance system. The aluminium rail is the detail that decides how the machine feels after two years in a busy room.

Cross trainers fail at the rail before they fail anywhere else. Steel rails corrode where perspiration collects and develop a rough action; aluminium does not, and it keeps the glide consistent through the life of the machine. The rear mounted movement mechanism reduces wear further and is the reason the action stays smooth well beyond the point at which a conventional layout starts to feel notchy.

Resistance is electromagnetic with an integrated generator, so the machine produces the power for its own console. Handrails are PU foam with a contact zone in fine moulded polyurethane, pedals are large high strength ABS, and a heart rate sensor is fitted. The console offers seven preset programmes: manual, flat, climb, interval, weight loss, mountain and fat burn. A free programming mode adds three heart rate models plus distance, calorie and time targets. An 11.6 inch TFT screen is available as an option in place of the standard LCD, and transport wheels make repositioning straightforward.

Specifying a cardio row

Cross trainers absorb the members who cannot or will not run, which in most clubs is a larger group than the treadmill users. Plan enough of them, and place them where the view is worth looking at, because a machine facing a blank wall is the last one used in the room.

Allow lateral clearance for a user stepping off mid session, and space behind the machine for maintenance access to the drive. A siting plan with row spacing is issued with the quotation once we have your room drawing. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, quote export per project, and dispatch within five to ten working days from stock.

Frequently asked questions

What does a self generating resistance system change?

The machine powers its own console from the user’s effort, which simplifies installation because there is no requirement to bring a socket to every position in the row.

Why does the aluminium track matter?

Because it does not corrode where perspiration reaches it. That is what keeps the glide consistent over years of commercial use, and it is the single most common cause of a cross trainer feeling worn out.

Is the TFT screen worth the option?

It depends on the site. Clubs where members bring their own device rarely need it; hotels and premium residences often specify it for the presentation as much as the function.
