Uses and limits
A roll limits the number of joints on large surfaces. At 8 mm, it protects the subfloor in cardio areas, pin-loaded machine zones and walkways; for heavy free weights and bar drops, see tiles of 20 mm and more.

Working out quantities and delivery
Quantities are calculated from the usable surface, plus a cutting margin. Delivery is on pallets and is not included in the price: transport costs depend on quantity and destination and are stated on the quotation.
Installation
Unroll on a flat, clean and dry subfloor, then cut with a utility knife. Rolls are laid edge to edge with no gap between them, with an expansion gap of about 5 mm along the walls. Fixing with double-sided tape or adhesive is required along the full length of the roll: at every joint between rolls and in the centre. Subfloor preparation should be confirmed according to the condition of the existing floor and the intended use.
Material and operating environments
The covering is made of SBR rubber granules recovered from tyre recycling, bound with a polyurethane polymer. The flecks come from EPDM pigments, which is also what makes a bespoke colour possible in production, subject to a minimum order.
This composition gives a non-slip floor even in the presence of moisture — the reason this type of covering is found in ski resorts and ice rinks as much as in gyms. It also takes the constant footfall of high-traffic areas: exhibition halls, trade shows and reception areas.
For intensive use, full-surface bonding is recommended, on an even, dry and uncracked substrate. The dry double-sided adhesive tape comes in three widths — 50, 85 and 150 mm — chosen according to the width of the joint to be covered; it works under PVC flooring, rubber and artificial turf alike.
Care
Sweep or vacuum regularly to remove dust, sand and abrasive particles. Wash with a slightly damp mop or a scrubber-dryer fitted with soft brushes, using a pH-neutral detergent suitable for rubber flooring, then rinse with clean water if needed and leave to dry. Wipe up any spilled liquid straight away.
Do not use: wire brushes or abrasive pads, bleach, vinegar, bathroom cleaners, high-pH strippers, or products containing oils, greases or solvents. The floor is used with clean sports shoes.
