Description
One roll, 12.5 m2 of gym floor: this 6 mm recycled SBR rubber roll (10 x 1.25 m) lays a non-slip, joint-friendly surface over fitness and strength areas, indoors or out.
Where 6 mm is the right thickness
Six millimetres is the fitness-floor standard: it protects the slab and equipment in cardio zones, group-class studios and general training areas, cushions joints, and keeps transitions low for benches and machines. For heavy free-weight drop zones, step up to thicker tiles; for large surfaces at controlled cost, the roll format installs fast with minimal joints.

Typical applications
Fitness and strength rooms, trade fairs and exhibition areas, ski stations and ice rinks, and children’s play spaces — anywhere that needs a durable, non-slip, easy-clean surface. Being made from recycled granules, it is also an environmentally sound flooring choice.
Laying rolls for a clean result
Acclimatise the rolls in the room for 24 hours before laying so the rubber relaxes, then dry-fit, cut edges against a straightedge and glue with a polyurethane adhesive on a dry, smooth, dust-free slab. Roll the surface after bonding to expel air. Joints laid tight and in the same direction become nearly invisible on the granulated surface. For rooms wider than the 1.25 m roll format, plan the layout so cut strips fall along walls rather than in walkways.

Frequently asked questions
Should the roll be glued down?
For intensive use, yes: lay it on a dry, smooth substrate and glue it for a durable, stable bond. Loose-lay can suit temporary installations such as fairs.
How is the floor maintained?
A mild detergent with a broom or mop is enough; the dense surface does not trap dirt.
What about heavier free-weight zones?
Under racks and drop zones we recommend thicker rubber; compare options in our rubber gym flooring tiles range or ask for a project quote by surface area.
