Choosing this format for your gym
A roll limits the number of joints on long surfaces. For the take-off, start from the real dimensions of each zone, then allow for cuts, door openings and joints. A theoretical surface of 25 m² corresponds to two rolls, before installation losses.
A 10 mm thickness is not enough to qualify a bar-drop or free-weight zone. For those uses, have a system sized according to the loads, the drop height and the subfloor; our weightlifting tiles allow those zones to be studied separately.
Subfloor, installation and care
Prepare a flat, clean, dry and stable subfloor. For intensive use, glued-down installation must follow the recommendations of the adhesive and the flooring. Check compatibility with the subfloor before installation, as well as joints and edge finishes.
Remove dust regularly and clean with a compatible, non-aggressive product. Grip also depends on floor cleanliness: avoid greasy deposits and standing water. Outdoor or wet-area use must be validated for the project; this page does not qualify a playground impact-absorbing surface.
