Description
The 45 m pump track is the version built around separate lines for different abilities rather than a single shared loop. Across its 45 linear metres the layout provides routes designed for small children on scooters, for confident teenagers on BMX and for adults and older riders who want a gentler line, so several ability groups can be on the facility at the same time without conflict. Anti slip surfacing and a recommended protective equipment policy support that mixed use. It is priced at 43 500 EUR excluding VAT and suits a family park, a tourist site or a municipality that wants one facility to serve every age group.

Siting the track and separating the lines
With several routes on one plot, the entry and exit points deserve as much attention as the loop. Plan a single obvious start area, keep pedestrian circulation outside the riding envelope, and leave a margin around the perimeter where parents and coaches can stand without being on the line. A supervised viewpoint, typically towards a car park or a refreshment area, works well on tourist and family sites where children ride unaccompanied on the easier route while older riders use the faster one.
The track is shaped and surfaced in place by a specialist crew, so the plot has to be gradeable, drained and reachable by a truck and compaction plant. Build time runs to days rather than weeks. Once cured, the facility has no moving parts, no power requirement and no consumables, and it operates unsupervised during opening hours.
Safety on a mixed ability facility is managed by design and by signage rather than by staffing. Anti slip surfacing is part of the build, and the recommended protective equipment, a helmet plus knee and elbow pads, should be stated on the entrance panel. Frequently asked questions
Can young children and experienced riders really share the facility?
That is the reason this length exists. Rather than one loop that everybody negotiates at their own risk, the 45 m layout carries routes designed for different ages and levels, so a five year old on a scooter is not sharing a line with a teenager riding it fast. The routes are drawn together at design stage so they interact safely.
What surface does it have?
An asphalt riding surface with an anti slip finish, chosen so the track stays usable in the conditions a public facility actually sees. Riders should still moderate their speed on a wet surface.
How do we choose between 45 m and the longer tracks?
Choose 45 m when the priority is serving a broad age range on one site. The 53 m and 54 m tracks give longer continuous flow and higher throughput for club sessions, and the 90 m track is the length to specify when you are planning events. Send us your plot dimensions and expected users and we will advise.
