Description
The 90 m pump track is the largest circuit in the range and the only one dimensioned for a competition calendar, with 90 linear metres of line, deep berms and long rollers. It is the length that turns a park into a regional destination: enough variety for riders to build a different run each visit, and enough capacity to host monthly challenges and competitions that draw both amateurs and sponsored riders. Mountain bikes and BMX are the recommended machines on a track of this scale. It is priced at 92 755 EUR excluding VAT, which places it with leisure parks, large municipalities and resort operators rather than with a first community scheme.

Siting a destination track and hosting events
At this scale the surrounding infrastructure matters as much as the circuit. An event day needs a start and finish area, a marshalling zone, spectator space clear of the line, parking within reach and, in practice, water and toilets. Survey the plot for levels, drainage and vehicle access before the layout is drawn, since the track is shaped and surfaced in place and cannot be moved afterwards.
The riding envelope should be kept free of pedestrian desire lines. With 90 linear metres and riders carrying real speed through the berms, spectators need a defined place to stand, and the entry point should not put a novice into a fast section. Where the site also holds play equipment, keep it outside the riding area, where EN 1176 and EN 1177 apply to that equipment in the normal way.
Programming is what returns the investment. A monthly challenge or competition, with online entry, keeps the facility busy outside school holidays and gives local riders a reason to progress. Between events the track works unsupervised: no moving parts, no power requirement, no consumables. Light In Fitness delivers across France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg and has installations on three continents, with export projects priced per project.
Frequently asked questions
What justifies 90 m over the mid range lengths?
Capacity and variety. Ninety linear metres carries several riders at once without them interfering, offers enough features for different runs on the same circuit, and gives the room a competition format needs. Below that length a track works very well as a community facility but will feel constrained on an event day.
What equipment should riders bring?
A mountain bike or a BMX in sound mechanical condition, plus a helmet, knee pads, elbow pads and gloves. A neglected machine is the most common cause of trouble on a fast circuit, so it is worth saying so on the entrance panel.
Can we run competitions on it?
Yes. The length is specifically intended for a programme of monthly challenges and competitions, drawing amateur and experienced riders, with entries handled online. Plan the marshalling and spectator areas at design stage rather than improvising them on the first event day.
