Description
A horizontal outdoor dumbbell rack in 316L marine-grade stainless steel holding five pairs in a single line. Price: 1,999 EUR excluding VAT.
The indoor gym layout, outdoors
Horizontal racking presents five pairs side by side in ascending weight order. It is the layout every member who has trained indoors already recognises, and that familiarity does real work in an unsupervised outdoor zone: users select the right weight, return it to the right place and leave the area in order. In a small free-weight zone that legibility is worth more than raw capacity.

Why 316L rather than 304
316L contains molybdenum, which gives it corrosion resistance above standard 304 grade. The difference shows at the coast, around chlorinated water such as pool decks, and anywhere the air carries salt. For seafront hotels, coastal local authorities and permanently exposed installations, the grade is the specification decision that determines whether the rack still looks new after ten winters.

Frequently asked questions
Five pairs or ten?
Five pairs suits an introductory zone or a small free-weight area where the range does not need to be complete. Ten pairs, on the vertical rack, is the specification for a high-traffic zone that has to cover a full progression of loads.
Are dumbbells supplied with it?
No, they are quoted separately so the weight range fits the user population. We include a matched set in the quotation on request.
What maintenance does it require?
Periodic cleaning and a visual check of the fixings. There is no coating to repair and no scheduled treatment, which is the practical reason stainless steel is specified for permanently exposed equipment.
Positioning in the zone
A horizontal rack presents a long, low profile, so it works well against a wall, along a fence line or as a visual boundary at the edge of a free-weight area. That last use is often the most valuable: the rack marks where the zone begins and ends without any additional fencing or signage. Leave clear space in front for the working area, and check that the rack does not sit where dumbbells would be lifted directly over the anchoring bolts.
The five-pair format is also the natural first purchase for a site testing demand for outdoor free weights before committing to a full zone.
