Outdoor Bumper Plate 15 kg — Weatherproof

In brief — Outdoor Bumper Plate 15 kg: designed by Light In Fitness in Tours and manufactured in Europe (stainless steel with lifetime warranty), price 56.99 € excl. VAT.

The outdoor bumper plate 15 kg is the intermediate working load of permanent open-air rigs: a weatherproof 50 mm Olympic-bore bumper with 316L stainless steel on the corrosion-critical metalwork, built to stay outside all year. Price: 56.99 EUR excluding VAT.

The load that carries outdoor programming

Between the 10 kg technique plates and the 20 kg strength plates, the 15 kg step is where much of an outdoor group’s actual barbell work happens: paired on a 20 kg bar it builds the 50 kg loads of intermediate lifters. Like the rest of the outdoor family, it is specified for permanent exposure, seafront salt air, mountain freeze-thaw, urban park weather, where a standard indoor bumper would corrode at the insert within a season.

Frequently asked questions

What distinguishes it from an indoor bumper?

Material selection: anticorrosion construction and 316L stainless metalwork designed for year-round exposure, where indoor bumpers oxidise at the insert and seize on the sleeve.

Does it work with indoor Olympic bars too?

Yes, the 50 mm bore is universal; in practice it is ordered with the outdoor rigs and bars of the same range for coherent permanent installations.

Plate by plate or as a set?

Top-ups are ordered per plate; new installations usually start with the 100 kg set of four pairs from 5 to 20 kg, quoted with volume pricing.
