Description
The kids Tai Chi wheels with illustrated discs are a children’s outdoor fitness station supplied and installed throughout France by Light In Fitness. The two vertical handwheels of the classic Tai Chi station keep their mechanics, but the plain discs are replaced by illustrated ones that rotate with the movement.
Coordination training that holds attention
Turning two wheels at once with controlled circles is a genuine bilateral-coordination exercise for shoulders, wrists and forearms. The illustration is what keeps children at it: because the picture turns with the wheel, the child follows a moving visual cue, and the duration of the exercise stretches without anyone asking. Same footprint as the plain version, considerably more engagement.
What the child works
- Deltoids and rotator cuff
- Glenohumeral mobility
- Wrists and forearms
- Bilateral coordination
Why choose this model
- Seven designs: mushroom, star, smiley, blue flower, hot-air balloon, green star, red flower
- The rotating illustration lengthens exercise time naturally
- Identical footprint to the plain-disc version
- Designs can be matched across stations for a coherent themed area
Two compliance versions: EN 16630 or EN 1176
Offered in an EN 16630 version (free-access outdoor fitness equipment, for users of at least 1.40 m) and an EN 1176 version (playground equipment standard, with EN 1177 surfacing where free fall height requires it). The mechanics are identical; the compliance route depends on whether the destination is a declared playground or a free-access fitness area, and Light In Fitness confirms it before quoting.

Frequently asked questions
At what height are the wheels mounted?
The station is dimensioned for children, with the handwheels reachable from a standing position. Exact mounting dimensions appear on the layout plan supplied with the quotation.
Can I mix illustration designs on one area?
Yes – the seven designs are shared across the illustrated wheel family, so you can either repeat one design for a strong identity or mix designs so each station is recognisable from a distance.
Do the wheels require maintenance?
Like all free-access equipment, the station needs a regular visual check and an annual inspection; the rotating assemblies are designed for permanent outdoor installation.
