This 820 x 370 x 50 mm intermediate tray fits between two storage chests to stabilise the stack, or inside the chest as an additional storage level. It is the tray dimensioned for the 100 litre CR800 metal storage chest, where the 350 mm internal depth is exactly what makes a second level worth having.

Construction and fit

Pressed sheet metal matched to the chests, sharing their finish and their tolerance. Inside a CR800 the tray keeps light items such as straps, bibs and guards accessible on top while the dense kit sits below, so nobody has to unload the chest to reach a resistance band. Between two chests it locates the upper unit and keeps the stack square in the store room.

Does the tray reduce the usable volume of the chest?

It occupies 50 mm of height and it does not remove capacity so much as reorganise it: the same contents become reachable in two layers. If a chest is always packed to the lid with bulky items, the tray is the wrong accessory and a second chest is the right one.

Can it be lifted out?

Yes. It rests in the chest and lifts out, which is what lets the same chest be used with two levels for accessories one week and as a single deep box for bulky kit the next.
