This 620 x 370 x 50 mm intermediate tray fits between two storage chests to stabilise the stack, or inside the chest as an additional storage level. It is the tray sized for the CR600 format, the middle of the chest range and the one most often bought in pairs.

Construction and fit

Pressed sheet metal matched to the chests, so the finish and the fit are the same as the units it serves. Between two chests it takes the load of the upper unit across the rim instead of on the lid alone; inside a chest it splits the depth into two usable levels, which is what stops the contents becoming a single heap.

Two, one at each junction. A tray is needed between each pair of chests, not on the top of the stack.

Does the tray carry the weight of the chest above?

It spreads that load and keeps the stack located. It is not a shelf bracket: the chests still bear on each other, so keep the heaviest chest at the bottom of the stack.
