Description
The Inobike 6 Air is a professional aqua bike with an anodised 6063 T6 aluminium frame weighing 14.8 kg. That weight is the specification that matters most in daily pool operation, because entries and exits into the water are the moment when aquatic equipment gets damaged or simply stops being used.
The bike is well balanced on a stable base, which makes classes safe including for heavier participants, and wide feet with silicone suction cups hold it in position on the pool floor. A broad range of adjustments on the feet, the saddle and the handlebar lets it be set for any user, improves comfort and protects the joints, and it is designed for professional use in regular classes in public and private pools.
Resistance comes from a hydraulic system with six fixed fins housed on the crankset. Effort increases simply with pedalling cadence, so the intensity adapts instantly to the exercise being performed without any adjustment mid session. The Aqua Double Speed pedals carry a removable flap that modulates the effort further. The handlebar offers three training positions, the anatomically designed soft saddle gives comfortable support, and an insulated bottle and bottle holder are supplied with the bike.

Running aqua cycling classes professionally
Aqua cycling works because effort scales with cadence rather than with a setting. In a class of mixed abilities everyone pedals at their own rate against the same equipment, so a single group can include a rehabilitation participant and a trained athlete without the instructor adjusting anything. That is difficult to achieve with land based cardio.
For a facility, the questions are handling, stability and adjustment range. A 14.8 kg frame is moved by one member of staff, the suction cup feet prevent the bike walking across the pool floor during a fast session, and the adjustment range covers the full spread of a public pool’s users. Fleet quantities are quoted as a set with delivery to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, and export priced per project.
Frequently asked questions
How is the resistance adjusted?
It is not set manually. The six fin hydraulic system increases effort with pedalling cadence, and the Aqua Double Speed pedals with removable flap allow further modulation.
Is it suitable for heavier participants?
Yes. The balanced design and stable base are specified to keep classes safe including for participants carrying significant weight.
What water depth is required?
Recommended depth depends on user height and programme. We confirm it against your pool profile with the quotation.
