Description
The ELLY brings elliptical training into the pool: a stainless steel underwater cross trainer whose smooth, natural stride works the whole body while the water carries most of the load. For aquatic centres, physiotherapy pools, hotels and private owners, it answers a real programming gap — standing, weight-bearing cardio for users whose knees and hips will not tolerate it on dry land.

Elliptical mechanics plus water therapy
n
On land, an elliptical already spares the joints; in water, buoyancy reduces joint pressure further while the surrounding resistance loads every phase of the movement, forwards and backwards. The result is a training stimulus that is simultaneously gentler and more complete: legs, glutes, core and arms all work against the water at an intensity the user selects.

Frequently asked questions
n
Who benefits most from an aquatic elliptical?
n
Users in rehabilitation, people with joint or weight constraints, and regular exercisers seeking variety: the water removes impact while keeping — and even extending — the training effect of the elliptical movement.
n
How does it differ from an aqua bike?
n
An aqua bike is seated and lower-body dominant; the ELLY is standing and full-body, recruiting the arms, trunk and glutes throughout. Many facilities run both side by side in mixed circuits.
n
Which pools can it be used in?
n
Standard class and rehabilitation pools; our team confirms suitability for your depth and floor surface during the project study. See also the ELLY Air version and the wider aquatic fitness range.
