The Etenon ION8, manufacturer reference PRO80, is a professional indoor cycling bike with magnetic resistance and a connected console supplied as standard. The resistance knob is digital and linked to the console, so the exact level from 0 to 100 is displayed in real time instead of being set by feel. The console is Bluetooth enabled for Zwift and Kinomap and runs on a USB rechargeable battery, which means the bike needs no permanent mains connection and can be sited anywhere in the room. It is dimensioned for indoor cycling studios, premium clubs, hotel fitness rooms and corporate wellness spaces.

Studio operation, siting and maintenance
The digital resistance knob changes how a class is run. An instructor can prescribe level 65 and every participant sets the same number, which is impossible with an analogue friction knob where each rider guesses. Members also find the exact level that matches their effort zone from one session to the next, so a session becomes reproducible and comparable rather than approximate.
Siting is unusually flexible for a connected bike. Because the console runs on a rechargeable battery there is no need for a socket at each position, so the layout is driven by sightlines to the instructor and by circulation rather than by the electrical plan. The 150 x 65 cm footprint and 130 cm height allow tight row spacing in a studio; the four adjustable feet with rubber pads let the bike be levelled on an imperfect floor.
Maintenance is lower than on a chain driven bike. The Hutchinson 10PJ belt is silent and needs no lubrication, and magnetic resistance has no pad in contact with the flywheel, so there is no friction element to replace on a schedule. Routine work is limited to checking the saddle and handlebar clamps, wiping the frame and handlebar after each class since sweat is corrosive, keeping the pedals torqued and recharging the console.

Yes. The 1 950 EUR excluding VAT price includes the Bluetooth console fitted as standard. The tablet holder is a separate option.
Which apps does the bike work with?
The console connects over Bluetooth to Zwift and Kinomap, so virtual cycling sessions can be programmed without adding hardware. Heart rate, power in watts, speed, distance, time, calories and resistance level are shown on the backlit screen.
What does a 12 kg flywheel with 24 kg perceived inertia mean in practice?
The flywheel weighs 12 kg and is mounted at the front; Etenon states that the drive ratio produces a felt inertia equivalent to a 24 kg wheel. In use that translates into a smooth pedal stroke without the mass and floor loading of a heavy rear flywheel.
