Description
The Core Essential is a 320 litre portable cold plunge bath weighing 3.5 kg empty, assembled in under ten minutes without tools. It is the entry point to cold water immersion for athletes who travel, for temporary sports events and as additional capacity for a club that already has a fixed installation.
The wall is a five layer construction with reinforced central insulation, which holds the water cold for several days without active cooling. The outer skin is ultraviolet resistant reinforced nylon and the inner liner is PVC guaranteed free of bisphenol A and phthalates, a point worth checking on any product in prolonged skin contact.
The tub measures 80 cm in diameter and 75 cm high and accepts users up to 2 m tall. Delivery includes the tub with tap and drain hose, an inflatable insulated lid, an ultraviolet protection cover, a floating thermometer, an air pump, a repair kit and the manual. It folds for transport and works indoors or outdoors.

Portable or fixed cold plunge
A portable tub and a fixed cold plunge bath answer different questions. The portable version is set up where it is needed, folded away afterwards and refilled manually, which suits a competition weekend, a training camp or a physiotherapy practice with limited space. A fixed bath with filtration and a chiller suits a club offering recovery as a permanent service.
For cooling without ice, pair the tub with a cold plunge chiller. That combination keeps the water at a set temperature and removes the logistics of ice delivery, which is usually what limits the frequency of recovery sessions.
Frequently asked questions
How long does the water stay cold?
Several days, thanks to the five layer insulated wall and the insulated lid, without any active cooling.
Is a chiller required?
No, the tub can be filled with cold water and ice. A chiller is added for active cooling and for holding a set temperature between sessions.
Can it be installed indoors?
Yes, indoor and outdoor use are both possible. Allow for filling and for draining through the supplied hose.
