Description

The BLCRP-4 Abdominal Module is a hot-dip galvanised steel core-training element for composed outdoor street workout cages, covered by a 20-year structural warranty. It adds dedicated abdominal work, sit-ups, leg raises and incline core drills, to a custom calisthenics structure.

Core training within your composed cage

The BL system lets you design an outdoor cage module by module instead of buying a fixed layout. The BLCRP-4 covers the trunk: anchored sit-ups, incline crunches and oblique work that complete the pulls, pushes and squats performed on the neighbouring modules. A cage that trains everything but the core is incomplete; this module closes that gap for schools, municipalities, military sites and outdoor boxes.

Corrosion protection engineered in layers

  • Cold-formed steel tube with high tensile strength and a corrosion-resistant inner coating
  • Hot-dip zinc galvanising followed by chromate conversion treatment
  • Washed, prepared, then finished with an oven-baked Super Durable polyester powder coat
  • Light-stable pigments for superior UV resistance and lasting colour
  • 20-year warranty on the steel structure (Light In Fitness manufacture)

Core work designed for public sites

Outdoor abdominal equipment must work without supervision, adjustment or instruction, and that constraint shapes the BLCRP-4: fixed anchoring positions, self-evident movement patterns and no settings to misuse. Users work sit-up and crunch variations at the intensity their level allows, from assisted holds to full decline repetitions, while the galvanised structure ignores weather that would destroy padded indoor benches. In a composed cage, the module gives the structure its recovery-intensity station, the place users rotate to between pull and push efforts, which keeps groups circulating instead of queueing at the bars.

Frequently asked questions

Where should the abdominal module sit in the cage layout?

Typically on the quieter side of the structure, away from the swing path of traverse elements, so users working at floor level are never under moving traffic. The layout study positions each module with its own clearance inside the overall footprint of the composed cage.

How does the module attach to the rest of the cage?

BL modules are engineered to assemble into a single composed structure. Once you have selected your modules, Light In Fitness prepares the configuration, footprint and anchoring plan for the complete cage on your site.

What maintenance does the galvanised structure need?

Routine visual inspection only. The hot-dip galvanising and baked polyester coat prevent rust and fading without repainting, which is why the structure carries a 20-year warranty.

Can the module be added to an existing BL cage later?

Yes. The modular system is designed to grow: an abdominal module can extend an installed cage, subject to the layout and safety clearances of the site.
