Sports Equipment Supplier for Clubs, Councils and Hotels
Light In Fitness is a professional sports equipment supplier working with local authorities, sports clubs, schools and universities, companies, hotels, campsites and wellness centres. We deliver equipment built for intensive use, documented, and specified against the European standards that govern facilities open to the public.
One supplier, from the first sketch to commissioning
Our role is to equip sports spaces so that they last, stay safe and match how they will actually be used. That means a single point of contact through the whole project: understanding the brief, laying out the room, specifying the equipment, supplying it and supporting it afterwards.
Why operators work with us
- A complete range of professional equipment designed for intensive use, from a single station to an entire facility.
- Products specified against the applicable European standards, with the technical documentation supplied for your compliance file.
- A project study service: layout drawings, 3D visuals where they help, machine customisation and configuration advice.
- Colour and branding options, so equipment carries your identity rather than someone else’s.
- Solid warranties, an accessible after sales contact and straightforward maintenance.
Equipment is selected for performance, durability and its ability to serve the people who will actually use it, whether that is a recreational member or a competitive athlete.
Our equipment ranges
We cover indoor and outdoor spaces across six families:
| Category | Example products |
|---|---|
| Selectorised strength | Leg press, shoulder press, leg curl, adductor machines |
| Cardio training | Treadmills, rowing machines, cross trainers, indoor cycling bikes |
| Free weights | Dumbbells, olympic barbells, racks, bumper plates |
| Cross training | 360 degree rigs, wall mounted rigs, pull up bars, custom structures |
| Outdoor sport | Stainless steel machines, fitness trails, street workout equipment |
| Sports flooring | Rubber tiles, flooring rolls, tatami mats, lifting platforms |
Start with our professional strength training machines and our cardio equipment for indoor projects, or with the outdoor fitness trail ranges for public open air installations.
Who we equip
Local authorities and schools buying under public procurement rules. Hotels and campsites where the fitness room is a booking argument. Commercial gyms and cross training boxes. Rehabilitation centres and armed forces facilities. Companies investing in workplace wellbeing. Each of those buyers has a different constraint, and the specification changes accordingly: procurement needs documentation, hotels need a small footprint, boxes need equipment that survives group classes.
Safety, compliance and documentation
Specification is where a project is won or lost, so it is worth being exact about which standard applies to what:
- EN ISO 20957-1 class S for indoor strength and cardio machines. Class S is the studio category, the one required for equipment installed in a supervised facility open to the public.
- EN 16630 for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment for adults.
- EN 1176-1 for children’s playground equipment, with EN 1177 for its impact absorbing surfacing. These are separate from EN 16630 and are never interchangeable with it.
- Fire classification for flooring: our sports floors are supplied with their reaction to fire class stated on the technical sheet, for example Bfl-s1. Quote it exactly as written, smoke index included, and check what the building regulations applicable in your country require for your type of establishment.
Technical documentation is supplied with each product, which is what allows a public buyer or an insurer to close the file without chasing paperwork.
Customisation
Colours, logo integration and specific configurations are available across most ranges. For cross training structures in particular, the configuration is normally drawn around the room rather than chosen from a fixed list.
Frequently asked questions
Do you supply outside France?
Yes. We work with operators on international projects. Delivery and installation arrangements are confirmed for each project and destination when we quote, because they depend on the country, the site and the access conditions.
Is your equipment suitable for public sector buyers?
Yes. Ranges are specified for local authorities, schools, rehabilitation centres and other public facilities, with the documentation those files require.
Can equipment be customised?
Yes: colours, logos and specific configurations. Tell us your identity and the constraints of the room and we will adapt the proposal.
Do you help with the layout?
Yes. Send a floor plan and we return a layout with circulation and user zones respected, before anything is ordered.
Ask for a costed proposal
Tell us what the space is, who will use it and what the budget has to cover. You will get a configuration, a layout and a costed proposal. Start with our quotation request form.
