Light In Fitness: Professional Sports Equipment Supplier
Light In Fitness supplies professional sports and fitness equipment to the organisations that have to keep it running every day: commercial gyms and cross-training boxes, hotels and residences, local authorities and schools, health and rehabilitation centres, corporate wellness rooms and sports clubs. The offer covers the whole project rather than a single order line, from the initial survey of the room through the layout, the equipment itself, installation, anchoring and commissioning.
What a specialist supplier changes
Equipment is the visible part of a fitting-out project; the part that decides whether it works is everything around it. A supplier who only ships boxes leaves you with the layout, the clearances, the anchoring, the standards file and the first breakdown. Working with a specialist means the room is measured before anything is ordered, the equipment mix is built around the people who will actually use it, and the conformity documents arrive with the delivery rather than being chased afterwards.
- Equipment specified for professional and commercial use, not adapted from consumer ranges.
- A complete range covering strength, cardio, cross training, outdoor installations and sports flooring, so one project has one interlocutor.
- Customisation: colour choices, logo application and bespoke modules where the standard configuration does not fit the space.
- Support from the first study to commissioning, including installation and floor anchoring.

How a project runs
Our team works from the site itself wherever that is possible, and from dimensioned plans where it is not. The sequence is always the same: analyse the space and its constraints, establish the user profile and the expected attendance, work out the optimum configuration, produce a 2D or 3D layout where the project justifies it, then install the equipment with floor anchoring, safety checks and handover. Financing options can be discussed at the study stage rather than after the quotation.
Certified, compliant and safe equipment
Compliance is not a marketing argument, it is what allows a facility to open. The references that matter are:
- EN ISO 20957-1 class S for indoor strength and cardio equipment in professional and commercial use.
- EN 16630 for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment accessible to the public, including street workout structures.
- EN 1176-1 for children’s playground equipment, with impact-attenuating surfacing to EN 1177. These are separate from the adult outdoor standard and are not interchangeable with it.
- Reaction-to-fire classification of floor coverings, for example Bfl-s1. The class your project must meet is set by the national building regulations that apply to buildings open to the public, so confirm it before the flooring is ordered.
Every order comes with technical data sheets, declarations of conformity and maintenance instructions, which are the documents an inspector or an insurer will ask to see.
Frequently asked questions
Who do you supply?
Commercial gyms, cross-training boxes, hotels, residences, campsites, local authorities, schools and universities, clubs, rehabilitation centres, armed forces and corporate facilities. The common factor is collective use, not the size of the site.
Do you deliver and install outside your home market?
Tell us where the site is and we will confirm the delivery and installation arrangements for that country before the quotation is issued. We do not publish lead times that we cannot hold for your location.
Can the equipment be customised?
Yes. Machines, rigs and outdoor structures can be supplied in chosen colours, with your logo or a public body’s identity applied, and with bespoke modules where the space requires them.
Is the equipment suitable for buildings open to the public?
It is specified for that use, and the conformity documents supplied with each order are what evidences it during regulatory checks.
Ask for a costed proposal
Whether you are a public authority, a sports centre, a hotel group, a company or a school, the starting point is the same: the surface area, the type of user and the regulatory constraints on the building. Send us those three things and we will come back with a layout and a costed equipment list. Request a quote or arrange a site appointment.
