Description
This outdoor punch bag frame in 316L marine grade stainless steel carries a bag on a self supporting anchored structure, independent of any building. Price: 1,499 EUR excluding VAT.
Striking work without a room
A punch bag normally needs a ceiling: a beam, a joist, a load bearing slab. That is what confines boxing to indoor spaces and keeps it off outdoor training areas. This frame removes the constraint. It is set into its own foundation, carries the bag on its own arm, and needs nothing from the surrounding building.
The result is a station that adds something no other outdoor apparatus provides. Pull up bars, dip bars and lever machines all train strength; a bag trains rhythm, coordination and cardiovascular output, and it releases stress in a way that makes it consistently the busiest item on a mixed use area.
Built for repeated impact
Striking loads are dynamic and repetitive, and they are applied at the end of a cantilever, which is the least forgiving loading case for a frame. The structure is dimensioned for it and anchored accordingly, so the deflection stays controlled and the anchor points are not fatigued by everyday use.
Our dedicated outdoor punch bag is sized for this frame, so the two can be quoted together as a ready to use station rather than assembled from parts that were never designed for each other.
Who installs it
- Municipalities, as the most used station on an outdoor training area
- Barracks and emergency services, for personnel striking work
- Boxing clubs, as an outdoor annexe to the gym
- Campuses, for student cardio and stress release
Installation, safety zone and surfacing
In free public access this equipment falls under EN 16630, the standard for permanently installed outdoor fitness equipment: a safety zone of at least 1.50 m around the structure and an impact attenuating surface compliant with EN 1177, sized according to the free height of fall. Anchoring is by base plates set into a concrete foundation, or fixed to an existing slab. On a closed private site the same requirements remain the reference for good practice.

Frequently asked questions
Which bag should be fitted?
One designed for outdoor use, resistant to UV and moisture. An indoor leather or synthetic bag will not survive a season of weather. Our outdoor boxing bag is dimensioned for this frame and can be included in the same quotation.
Is the bag included in the price?
No. The 1,499 EUR excluding VAT covers the frame. The bag is quoted separately so you can choose the weight that matches your users.
Does the frame need its own foundation?
Yes, in almost every case. A cantilevered striking load has to be resolved into the ground, so the frame is normally set into a concrete foundation. On an existing reinforced slab, direct anchoring may be possible: send us the slab details and we will confirm.
Send us the site and the surfacing already in place and we will return a layout study, an anchoring plan and a free written quotation within 24 hours. Compare the range on our stainless steel outdoor fitness page or the wider outdoor gym equipment catalogue.
