Description

The Parkour Set Adept 1M-P08 is the advanced configuration of the range, measuring 12.48 by 8.25 metres with a structure height of 2.40 metres. It requires a 15.48 by 11.25 metre safety zone and 124.77 m2 of secured surface, with a free fall height of 2.00 metres. Certification covers EN 16899 and EN 1176 and the price is 32,305 EUR excluding VAT.

The extra 0.40 metres of height over the standard 2.00 metre sets changes what can be trained. Higher walls and platforms allow cat leaps and climb ups that a two metre course cannot support, while the 124.77 m2 of secured area leaves room for long approaches between elements. That combination is what competition oriented clubs look for.

Note that the declared free fall height stays at 2.00 metres despite the taller structure, because the highest surfaces are not standing positions. The surfacing specification therefore follows the 2.00 metre figure.

Withstanding intensive use

A course sized for competition training takes a different load profile from a municipal leisure installation: fewer users, far more repetitions per user, concentrated on the same take off and landing points. Specify surfacing with that in mind across the 124.77 m2, certified to a critical fall height of at least 2.00 metres under EN 1177, and expect the wear pattern to be local rather than uniform.

The safety zone of 15.48 by 11.25 metres gives roughly 1.50 metres of clearance around the structure, so check boundaries, drainage channels and lighting columns against that rectangle early. Foundations are concrete and must be cured before installation. Access for delivery needs to accommodate elements up to the 12.48 metre run.

Steel structures are warranted for 20 years and after sales support runs from Tours, with spare parts available for the wearing components. Under EN 1176 the operator performs routine and operational inspections plus an annual main inspection, and on a competition course it is worth increasing the frequency of fixing checks.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the free fall height lower than the structure height?

Free fall height measures the highest point a user can fall from while standing or hanging in a normal position, not the top of the frame. Here that value is 2.00 metres even though the structure reaches 2.40 metres.

Can it host competitions?

The source material presents it as suited to intensive training and competition. With 124.77 m2 of secured area there is space for a judged run plus a waiting area outside the safety zone.

What surfacing options are available?

Synthetic turf on shock pad, rubber tiles, EPDM wet pour and certified sports surfaces, all quoted with the equipment as part of a turnkey package if required.
