The Parkour Park Urban Jungle 1M-P12 is an XXL outdoor parkour course with a structure footprint of 23.85 by 18.02 m and a height of 3.44 m. Foundations, safety area and installation

Every post is set in a permanent foundation of semi dry C20/25 concrete, 80 cm below finished ground level, with a minimum foundation block of 50 by 50 by 50 cm per post. The ground must be stable and free of unconsolidated fill, and access for an excavator is strongly recommended. This is a fixed installation and not a ballasted one, so the layout has to be agreed before groundworks start.

The supplier drawing is explicit on surfacing: the whole 466.41 m2 safety area must be finished with a system certified to PN-EN 1177+AC:2019-12 for a critical fall height of 2.40 m. Bare concrete, uncalibrated gravel and natural grass do not qualify at that height. Rubber tiles 60 mm thick or a poured EPDM system start at 78 EUR per m2 excluding VAT, which puts the surfacing budget for the full area at roughly 36 000 EUR excluding VAT. Certified wood chips laid 300 mm deep are an alternative on landing zones and are priced per project. Surfacing, groundworks and installation are quoted separately from the structure price.

Before the course opens, every fitting must be checked, in particular the foundation bolts. PN-EN 16899 then sets three levels of inspection: a routine visual check once a week, or daily where vandalism is a risk; an operational check every one to three months; and a main annual inspection by an approved technician, which may require partial dismantling. Damaged equipment is taken out of service and secured until it has been repaired with original parts.
