The simplest way to turn two chests into one stable column, and to stop small items sinking to the bottom. This intermediate tray of 520 x 270 x 50 mm sits between two storage chests to stabilise the stack, or inside a chest as an additional storage level.

Two uses, one part

Between two chests, the tray locates the upper unit and keeps the column square when the equipment room is reorganised. Inside a chest, it separates what is used every day from what stays at the bottom, which saves emptying the whole chest to find a set of bands.

Pressed steel matching the chests in the range, so the finish and the colour stay consistent across a stack. No fixings and no assembly: the tray is simply put in place.

How many chests can be stacked?

Stacking is designed for two chests. Above that, the height makes handling the upper lid awkward and the column loses stability.

Does the tray fit a chest that already has a sliding tray?

Yes. The sliding tray runs along the top of the chest, while the intermediate tray sits lower down or between two chests.
