Description
The Etenon V8 LED is the entry point of the Etenon commercial treadmill line, with an 18.5 inch panoramic LED display, an AC motor and built in WiFi and Bluetooth. It is aimed at small clubs, local authority facilities and fitness centres working to a controlled budget.
The choice of an LED display rather than a touchscreen is deliberate. LED withstands impact and perspiration far better, stays readable in direct daylight, and presents a simple interface that occasional users understand without instruction. On a machine destined for a municipal hall or a small club, that is usually the right trade.
Connectivity is nonetheless complete. WiFi handles software updates, Bluetooth pairs heart rate sensors and audio headsets, and the machine interfaces with club management systems through a standard connection. Maintenance is deliberately economical: six monthly lubrication and cable checks, with spare parts available for ten years and routine servicing feasible in house using our technical guide.

Where an entry level commercial treadmill fits
Small clubs, municipal facilities and budget conscious fitness centres are the intended market. The honest way to specify this machine is by traffic: a treadmill used by a handful of members through the day is a different proposition from one running continuously in a busy commercial club, and the higher references in the Etenon line exist for the second case.
Light In Fitness has supplied professional fitness equipment from Tours since 2013 and installs throughout France, with Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg covered as standard and export quoted per project. Electrical supply, floor loading and delivery access should be confirmed before ordering, and a plan of the cardio zone is prepared as part of the project study.
Frequently asked questions
What does EN 957 class H mean?
Under the EN 957 series, class H designates home use, while class S designates studio and commercial use. This machine is declared to class H, so for a high traffic commercial installation you should discuss the intended duty cycle with our technical team before ordering.
Why choose an LED screen over a touchscreen?
LED is more resistant to impact and perspiration, readable in bright natural light, and simpler for occasional users. It also costs less to replace, which matters over the life of a fleet.
How long are spare parts available?
Ten years. Routine maintenance is limited to six monthly lubrication and cable inspection, and can be carried out by your own staff with our technical guide.
