Description
The Bodytone Nexion T80L uses the same mechanical base as the flagship T80T, with a 6.0 HP alternating current motor, 25 km/h top speed, a 156 x 60 cm running surface and a 160 kg maximum user weight, but replaces the touchscreen with an LED console. Connectivity is handled by Bluetooth FTMS and NFC, so mobile applications such as Kinomap, Zwift or MyBodytone can drive the machine and record sessions. This is the specification to consider when a centre needs intensive duty running capacity without paying for an integrated streaming console. The list price is 7 080 EUR excluding VAT.

Intensity, layout and fleet integration
Because the drivetrain is identical to the flagship, the T80L carries the same duty rating: sustained use throughout the opening day in high traffic clubs, running and interval sessions in studios and functional training boxes, and hotel or spa fitness rooms where a quiet, robust belt matters more than an entertainment screen. Where footfall is lighter or budget is tighter, the T60 platform with its 4.0 HP motor is the sized alternative.
Allow the belt footprint plus a rear safety clearance and side access for servicing, and provide one dedicated mains socket per machine. Automatic incline calibration reduces the manual checks needed after transport or repositioning, which is useful when a floor is reconfigured seasonally. Upkeep follows the same routine as the touchscreen version: the deck lubricates itself, self diagnostics display error codes, service mode gives approved technicians access to calibration, and an alert is raised every 9 999 km.
The open FTMS profile is the practical argument for this console. FTMS is standardised by the Bluetooth SIG rather than owned by the manufacturer, so the treadmill can be added to a mixed brand cardio line and still be read by third party applications. NFC gives members a one tap identification at the start of a session, which keeps the LED console fast to use despite the absence of a touch interface.
Frequently asked questions
What exactly is lost compared with the T80T?
Only the console. The motor, top speed, incline range, running surface, deck material and 160 kg user rating are the same. The T80L has no integrated streaming platform and is not supervised through the BT MDM fleet software.
Which applications work with the LED console?
Any application that supports the FTMS profile, including Kinomap, Zwift and MyBodytone. Heart rate is read from HRC compatible chest straps over Bluetooth.
Is the phenolic resin deck important?
Yes. It is a hard material resistant to wear and to the heat generated by belt friction, which is what allows a commercial treadmill to absorb heavy attendance without deforming.
