Description
The Bodytone ZRO-BLAST is a self powered curved treadmill with a 160 by 44 cm running surface and no motor, no electrical supply and no speed ceiling. The curve is what makes that work: belt speed is set by where the runner places their feet, not by a control panel.
On a curved deck the belt accelerates as the runner moves forward on the curve and slows as they drift back, so the transition from a walk to a full sprint happens within a single stride and needs no input. Nothing electronic limits the top end. Because the belt matches the runner’s cadence instantly, impact through the joints is lower than on a powered deck where the belt speed and the stride are always slightly out of phase.
Without a motor or a drive belt there is very little to service, and without a power requirement the machine can be positioned anywhere on the floor, including in the middle of a functional area where a socket would be impractical. The console is an LCD reporting training data to the OMA standard.

A sprint station for functional areas
Cross training boxes, HIIT studios and functional zones use curved treadmills as sprint and resistance stations rather than as steady state cardio. They belong in the circuit, not in the cardio row: members arrive at the machine mid workout, run hard for a short interval and move on, which is a completely different traffic pattern from a treadmill row.
Placement is free because no socket is needed, so the machine goes where the circuit flows rather than where the electrics allow. Allow clearance behind for a user stepping off at speed and enough space at the sides for a coach. A siting plan is issued with the quotation once we have your room drawing. We deliver to France, Belgium, Switzerland and Luxembourg, quote export per project, and dispatch within five to ten working days from stock.
Frequently asked questions
How does a curved treadmill accelerate?
The runner moves forward onto the steeper part of the curve, which increases belt speed, and drifts back towards the centre to slow down. The whole range from walking to sprinting is controlled by foot placement.
Is it harder than a motorised treadmill?
Yes, at the same speed, because the runner drives the belt. Most users find their sustainable pace is noticeably lower than on a powered machine.
What maintenance does it need?
Cleaning, periodic inspection of the slats and bearings, and a check on the console battery. There is no motor, no drive belt and no electrical supply to maintain.
