Description
The CF110 CrossFit container gym is a fully deployable outdoor box measuring 13.37 m long by 8.19 m wide once opened out, with an overall height of 3.77 m. It is a mobile functional training centre rather than a fixed building: the modules and rig sections fold out from the container shell onto external mounts, and everything that is not bolted down locks back inside at the end of a session. That makes it the format of choice for armed forces running combat fitness testing, for gym operators who need to take a facility to an event, and for hotels or resorts adding a seasonal training area. It is listed at 65 000 EUR excluding VAT.

Siting, anchoring and ground preparation
The deployed footprint is what governs the site survey. At 13.37 by 8.19 m the unit needs a level, load bearing area noticeably larger than the folded container, plus a clear peripheral safety zone of at least 1.50 m all around under EN 16630, and impact attenuating surfacing to EN 1177 sized to the critical fall height of the pull up and suspension positions. Bare concrete does not meet EN 1177 under training positions at height, so a bonded 40 to 65 mm rubber tile system is the usual answer for the landing area.
Anchoring is by base plates bolted into a concrete foundation block or fixed directly to an existing concrete slab. Since the whole point of the CF110 is redeployment, many operators specify a slab and a bolted fixing so the unit can be lifted and moved without breaking out concrete. Access has to allow a truck to reach the final position, and enough working room to fold the modules out on arrival.
Where the unit is open to the public, the outdoor fitness rules apply as they would to any freestanding rig. On closed sites such as a military base, a company campus or a private box courtyard those requirements remain the reference for good practice. Groundworks, surfacing and the electrical supply are outside the 65 000 EUR figure and are quoted with the project.
Frequently asked questions
What are the deployed dimensions?
13.37 m long, 8.19 m wide once opened out and 3.77 m high. The steel structure is warranted for 20 years under Light In Fitness conditions.
Why choose a container over a fixed outdoor rig?
Two reasons. The unit can be moved and redeployed as often as needed, which suits touring events, temporary sites and organisations that expect their layout to change. And every loose item, from barbells to accessories, is stored and locked inside the shell when the session ends, which removes the theft and weathering problems that come with a permanently exposed rig.
How customisable is the configuration?
Fully. Training positions, accessories and internal layout are defined with you during the project study, and the external mounts let the modules be installed quickly and fixed securely once the design is agreed. The personalised quotation with the configuration study is returned within 24 to 72 hours.
