Description
The perforated draining PVC tile — 20 × 20 cm, 9 mm thick, CE and SGS certified — is the anti-slip flooring for permanently wet zones: pool decks and surrounds, footbaths, changing rooms, communal showers, spas and balneotherapy areas. Its perforations evacuate water instantly, so no puddle forms and no slippery film builds under bare feet, while the high-density PVC carries loads up to 10 tonnes. Estimated service life is 10 to 15 years.
Drainage treats slipping at the source
On a pool deck or shower exit, the mechanical cause of a barefoot slip is the film of water on the surface. Coatings that rely on paint condition or grout cleanliness lose their grip over time; the perforated tile removes the water before the film forms, and the anti-slip texture does the rest. Air circulating beneath the tiles also prevents moisture stagnating against the base floor — a documented hygiene mechanism against the fungi and bacteria behind athlete’s foot in high-rotation changing rooms.
- Instant water evacuation through the perforated surface — zero stagnation
- Anti-slip texture that stays effective barefoot and wet
- Load resistance up to 10 tonnes — maintenance vehicles, scrubber-driers, pallet trucks
- Temperature range −40 °C to +70 °C — indoor and frost-exposed outdoor use
- High-density PVC resistant to chlorine, salt water and UV
- Certified CE, SGS, ISO 9001; patented design
- Six colours — blue, grey, green, red, yellow, black — for zoning and floor signage
Tool-free installation, tile-by-tile maintenance
The tiles clip together without glue or tools and lay floating on any flat, load-bearing base: concrete, screed or stable existing tiling. They cut with a knife or saw to fit around skimmers, ladders, drains and columns — the small 20 × 20 cm format keeps offcuts to a minimum around obstacles. A single damaged tile unclips and is replaced without closing the zone, and the whole surface can be lifted for seasonal deep cleaning or winter removal outdoors. Count 25 tiles per m² plus a 5 to 10% cutting margin.

Frequently asked questions
How many tiles for a 10 × 5 m pool with a 1.5 m deck all round?
That deck represents roughly 50 m². At 25 tiles per m² you need 1,250 tiles, plus 8 to 10% for cuts along the pool edge and around skimmers and ladders — around 1,350 to 1,375 tiles. Send your pool plan for an exact count with your chosen colours.
Is the tile compatible with salt-water treatment and outdoor UV exposure?
Yes. The high-density PVC withstands chlorine splashes, salt treatment and direct UV over its estimated 10-to-15-year life; SGS certification covers chemical-resistance testing. For high-concentration ozone or bromine treatments, check the specific conditions with our team before ordering.
Can it be laid over old, worn tiling without removal?
Yes, provided the tiling is stable — no loose tiles — and reasonably flat. Recessed grout joints under 3 mm are generally absorbed; badly degraded floors need localised levelling first. Note that studded shoes and stiletto heels can perforate the surface: the 10-tonne rating covers distributed and rolling loads, not concentrated point pressure.
Can you supply tender-ready documentation?
Yes. Light In Fitness produces formal quotations for public tenders: precise product references, CE/SGS/ISO 9001 certificates, manufacturer data sheets, unit pricing and guaranteed lead times, with delivery across mainland France and Belgium. Send the specification with surfaces per zone and colours — response within 24 to 48 hours.
