How to Order Your Strength Training Equipment from Light In Fitness

Comment acheter votre matériel musculation chez Light In Fitness

Light In Fitness supplies strength and fitness equipment to professional operators: gyms and studios, hotels and resorts, clubs, municipal facilities, schools, rehabilitation centres and corporate wellness rooms. The range covers everything a supervised training floor needs, from free weights and benches to full selectorised lines, and the ordering process is built around a specification rather than a shopping basket.

This page explains how that process works, and what a professional buyer should have ready before asking for a quote.

What the range covers

From dumbbells to treadmills, cross trainers and rowing machines, the catalogue holds what a complete training floor requires. Alongside conventional strength machines it includes structures, racks and functional equipment, plus recovery and wellness equipment for facilities that offer more than training alone.

Established brands sit behind that range. Ziva structures, racks and accessories and Xebex air cardio machines are both stocked lines, chosen because they hold up in continuous multi-user operation rather than because they photograph well.

Start from the brief, not the catalogue

The single most useful thing a buyer can do is define the brief before comparing products. Four pieces of information do most of the work:

  • The floor plan, with usable dimensions and, for anything overhead, the height to the lowest fixed obstruction.
  • The peak occupancy, meaning how many people train at once at your busiest hour. Equipment counts follow peak use, not total membership.
  • The programming, since a floor built for supervised classes and one built for open training need very different mixes.
  • The user profile, including whether the facility serves rehabilitation, older users or athletes, which changes the load ranges and adjustability required.

With those four settled, a supplier can propose a configuration instead of a list, and you can compare offers on equivalent terms.

Specify to the right class of use

Indoor equipment for a supervised commercial facility should be specified to EN ISO 20957-1 class S, the class intended for professional and commercial operation. This is the point at which most procurement problems originate: equipment specified below that class does not fail dramatically, it simply wears out years earlier than the depreciation schedule assumed.

If part of the project is outdoors, note that permanently installed outdoor adult training equipment falls under EN 16630, a separate standard with its own requirements. Indoor and outdoor ranges are not interchangeable, and a project that spans both is two specifications rather than one.

Choosing between ranges

Most projects are built around a core of professional strength training machines, extended with the cardio required by your class formats and opening hours. Where the floor is structured around functional work, Ziva rigs and racks provide the structure, and Xebex air cardio machines cover the conditioning stations that interval formats demand.

The right balance between these depends entirely on the brief. A hotel fitness suite and an affiliate box may spend the same budget and end up with almost no equipment in common, and that is a sign the specification was done properly.

Advice before you commit

Specialist advice is available throughout, and it is worth using early rather than late. Whether your objective is a general fitness offer, a strength-focused floor, a rehabilitation space or a mixed-use municipal facility, the questions that matter, layout, circulation, supervision sightlines and load ranges, are far cheaper to answer before the order than after installation.

Frequently asked questions

Does Light In Fitness supply private individuals?

The range is designed and specified for professional, supervised facilities. Equipment intended for that environment is built to a different class of use than consumer products, which is reflected in both its construction and its price.

Can I order a single machine rather than a full fit-out?

Yes. Projects range from replacing a single machine to equipping a complete facility, and the specification process is the same in both cases, just shorter.

What information is needed for a quote?

Your floor plan with usable dimensions and height, your peak occupancy, the training formats you intend to run and the user profile you serve. With those, a costed configuration can be prepared.

Which standard should professional indoor equipment meet?

EN ISO 20957-1 class S for indoor equipment in supervised commercial use. EN 16630 applies instead to permanently installed outdoor adult training equipment.

Getting started

Equipping a facility properly is a specification exercise, not a purchase. Bring the floor plan, the peak occupancy, the programme and the user profile, and the equipment list becomes a calculation.

Light In Fitness has equipped professional sports and fitness facilities since 2013. Send us your plan and your requirements and we will come back with a configuration and a costed proposal. Request a quote to begin.
