Selectorised strength machines

Selectorised strength machines: our professional selection

Range overview — 192 models, including 187 with displayed prices: €158–€10,450 excl. VAT per machine; brands: Etenon, Bodytone, Lexco, Light In Fitness, Ziva, Fitness Tech; 4 models designed in Tours and manufactured in Europe (calculated on 2026-10-23).

Selectorised machines are strength machines on which the load is chosen by moving a pin on an integrated weight stack, giving a guided movement path and an immediate load change. They are the backbone of a commercial gym floor because they suit a wide public: the guided trajectory makes each station usable without coaching, and the fine load increments allow steady progression. They are equally used in rehabilitation, in hotels and in local authority facilities.

What selectorised machines are good at

Safety and learning: the guided path and the stable execution suit beginners and mixed memberships. Precise progression: the load changes step by step, which supports continuous progression without a training partner. Targeted work: muscle isolation is easier to achieve than with free weights, which is useful for aesthetics, performance and return to sport. Space efficiency: a circuit of stations occupies a predictable footprint with no plate storage required.

User profile Why selectorised suits
Beginners Guided path, no technical prerequisite
Mixed club membership Fast load change at peak times
Rehabilitation and older users Low starting loads, small increments
Hotels and unsupervised sites Safe to use without staff present
Advanced lifters Useful for isolation work alongside free weights

Layout, maintenance and compliance

Allow the machine footprint plus a user zone on the access sides, and keep circulation at 1.2 m or more so a circuit stays workable. Cables and pulleys are consumable items on any selectorised line, so plan an inspection routine and keep the references on file. Indoor equipment falls under EN ISO 20957-1 class S (successor to the former EN 957), with classes according to intended use. Warranty runs from 2 to 5 years depending on the range, and stocked references ship in 5 to 10 working days.

Frequently asked questions

How many machines make a full body circuit?

Eight to twelve stations cover the full body when they are sequenced so consecutive machines do not load the same group. Fewer stations still work where the floor also offers free weights and cable work. The final count comes from the available area and from peak attendance.

Selectorised or plate loaded?

Selectorised for high rotation floors, mixed publics and rehabilitation; plate loaded for strength areas and heavier loads. Most commercial floors install both, using selectorised stations for the circuit and plate loaded machines in the strength zone. See plate loaded machines for that comparison in detail.

Send us your area and attendance figures, and we will return a station list with a layout drawing. Request a quotation for a reply within 24 working hours.
