Description
Model 4 is a wall mounted CrossFit rig measuring 430 cm long and 118 cm deep, occupying around 5 m2 of floor area. It is the entry point of the Light In Fitness wall mounted range for facilities that need a genuine rig rather than a compact rack: a full length top beam, multiple pull up positions and hanging points along more than four metres of wall. The shallow 118 cm projection is a deliberate specification choice, aimed at body weight and suspended accessory work rather than at heavy barbell lifting.

What 118 cm of depth means in practice
Depth is the specification that decides what a wall rig can do. At 118 cm the structure handles every vertical and suspended movement without compromise, because those exercises happen under the beam rather than inside the frame.
- Strict, kipping and butterfly pull ups: full compatibility, the athlete hangs vertically
- Muscle ups and toes to bar: full compatibility, vertical suspension
- Dips on fitted bars: full compatibility
- Gymnastic rings and suspension straps: hung from the top beam, athlete works in front of the rig
- Barbell squats: possible but tight, the athlete has little walk out room inside the frame
If your programme is built around heavy back squats and rack pulls, specify a deeper wall rig or a free standing model. If it is built around gymnastics, conditioning and suspended accessory work, which is the case for most garage boxes, hotel training rooms and cross training corners inside a conventional gym, the shallow depth is a benefit: it returns floor space to the training area.
Wall fixing, ceiling height and layout
A wall mounted rig transfers load into the building, so the supporting wall must be verified as load bearing and capable of taking the anchor pattern. Solid concrete or reinforced masonry is straightforward; hollow block, plasterboard partitions and thermal insulation composite walls are not, and in those cases a free standing structure is the correct answer.
Allow a clear ceiling of at least 270 cm for kipping pull ups and closer to 300 cm for muscle ups and rings. In front of the rig, keep a working corridor of 200 cm minimum so that ring work, burpees and box jumps can be performed along the whole 430 cm run without collisions. Rubber tiles of 20 mm or more under the structure protect the slab and cut noise, which matters in shared or residential buildings.
Frequently asked questions
How many athletes can train on it at once?
Over 430 cm of length, two to three athletes work comfortably on pull ups, rings or straps depending on the accessories fitted. Class sizes above that usually justify a second wall run or a longer model.
Are accessories included?
The quoted price covers the structure. Rings, straps, J cups, dip bars, storage pegs and targets are selected at quotation stage, which lets the rig be configured for the programme actually being run.
What does the 20 year warranty cover?
It applies to the steel structure itself. Wear parts, coatings and accessories follow their own terms, which are set out in the warranty conditions supplied with the quotation.
