Outdoor Litter Bin - 45-Litre Steel Bin for Play Areas

In brief — Outdoor Litter Bin: dimensions 42 × 34 × 120 cm, standards EN 1176, certification an independent certification body, price on quotation.

A clean playground is a used playground – and cleanliness starts with bins that actually work. This outdoor litter bin pairs a 45-litre capacity with the details that matter in daily municipal service: a roof that keeps rain out of the waste, a tilt mechanism that makes emptying a one-person job, and a lock with integrated ashtray.

Designed around the maintenance round

The removable 45-litre inner bucket and tilt-emptying system cut the time each stop takes on a collection round – a genuine operating cost saving multiplied across a park estate. The integrated roof prevents rainwater from soaking the contents, keeping weight down and odours in check between collections.

• Bin body with removable 45-litre inner bucket
• Integrated protective roof
• Tilt-emptying system
• Lock with integrated ashtray
• Ground anchoring on foundation, 0.60 m deep

All-steel, twice protected

The structure is entirely steel, protected against corrosion by hot-dip galvanising followed by powder coating. At 1.20 m tall on a compact 0.42 x 0.34 m footprint, it stands visibly without dominating the space, and it is certified conforming to EN 1176 by an independent certification body.

Frequently asked questions

Why is the bin lockable?

The lock keeps the mechanism closed against tampering and vandalism, so only maintenance staff can tilt and empty the bin; an ashtray is integrated into the lock unit.

How many bins should a play area have?

At minimum one near each entrance and one by the seating zone; our layout study positions them on the natural walking routes where they are actually used.

What does installation involve?

The bin is anchored on a foundation 0.60 m deep, set by our installation teams; a technical data sheet is available on request.
