Description
Watching children play is a long-duration activity – and the adults doing it deserve proper seating. This bench with backrest is the comfort option of our play-area furniture range: full back support, generous 1.80 m length and a build quality specified for the intensive daily use of schools, public parks and leisure areas.
Comfort that keeps carers close
Where a perch suits a five-minute stop, a backed bench invites parents, grandparents and carers to settle within sight of the equipment for the whole visit – which is exactly where playground supervision should happen. Positioned facing the play zones, it becomes the natural social anchor of the site.
- Seat and backrest in timber slats
- Supporting structure in steel profiles and metal flats
- Dimensions: 1.80 m x 0.52 m x 0.85 m
- Ground anchoring on foundation, 0.60 m deep

Two materials, both fully protected
The frame uses 60 x 40 mm steel profiles and metal flats, hot-dip galvanised and then powder-coated – a double barrier against corrosion. The spruce slats of seat and backrest are treated with a deep-impregnation primer followed by a dedicated exterior wood paint, resisting weathering season after season.

Frequently asked questions
Backed or backless – which bench where?
Use backed benches at the main viewing spots where adults stay longest, and backless benches along paths and secondary positions; most layouts combine the two, and our free study proposes the mix.
How is it fixed to the ground?
By foundation anchoring at 0.60 m depth, installed by our teams – the bench cannot be moved, tipped or removed.
Are spare slats available?
Yes – wear parts remain available after the sale, so an accidentally damaged slat is replaced rather than the whole bench.
